Create a space for learning.
Create your own inner space for learning. Explain the process or sequence of action learning. Invite participation from everyone in the group. Model the process as a participant. Try to keep the group on track. Follow the process but also, learn when it’s okay not to. Let people know in a gentle way when its time to move on. Encourage action and reflection. Encourage listening, insight and new questions over advice. Invite poems, stories, art, images, and metaphors . Encourage and support everyone to keep a record of their learning. Document and share learning (share everyone’s questions and actions). Send out notices of meeting dates and time. Contact people individually between meetings (at least once). |
