What participants had to say:

Craig: Action learning allowed me to focus on my classroom, what was going on today – not someone standing up and lecturing, telling me what I needed to do.

Mark: This unique process of asking “what if” sparks the imagination of all members of the group and create paths of possibility. We found that our Action learning group is like the power rangers, - mighty as individuals but awesome when we are connected to one another.

Mary Beth - As our group formed a closeness, we began to tell more stories about our children. Sometimes these were just delicate, fragile vignettes,; a triumph of a new skill achieved; the courage to try something in a different way; an unexpected guest who wanted to play with my son. I found that hearing all – the failures and the successes – was extremely important to me.

Joyce– Hearing how others are doing things gives you motivation and confidence that you can make a change or try something new. You have that support and feel comfortable taking risks and making changes, instead of being out there on your own.
